Sleep? What's that?

I will make this fast since it looks like her highness is waking from her nap. I am so thankful that she's actually taking a good nap right now. Last week she decided she wasn't interested in napping for more than 30 minutes at a time - oh, and she also wasn't interested in sleeping thru the night either (not that we've ever reached that milestone!)

I can't seem to get anything done in 30 minutes, 3 times a day. The first 30 minute nap is shower time. The second nap is usually lunch time (or as I like to call it, stuff as much semi-nutritious food in my mouth as I possibly can) and the third is usually when I cook dinner. The laundry is piling up, the cats are neglected and the house is a wreck - welcome to motherhood! :-)

Here are a few pictures of the past week. I love the crisp, fall weather mainly because I love putting Gracie in anything with a hood. We have been cruising the neighborhood a lot in the stroler lately, taking advantage of the last few days of dry weather. The stroller also does double duty as her third and final nap of the day. The motion seems to put her to sleep every time.

I love this picture. It looks like she is pondering the weight of the world. Perhaps the economy has her doing a lot of thinking...or maybe she can't decide who to vote for. Or, perhaps she is just plain tired from only napping in 30 minute increments!

Last but certainly not least, we had a visit from her Uncle Brian 2 weeks ago and I didn't have any pictures to post during the last blog. He flew up from California to spend the weekend in P-town. Grace was very excited to meet him. Of course Grandma and Auntie Marcie came up as well. Grace loved being the center of attention!

Nap time is over, gotta get the kiddo fed! Ta Ta For Now

ha ha - I feel ya sister - One day we'll look back and think this itty bitty stage was the easy part!

Good luck with the napping today! I've discovered that if I put Miles in his swing on the fastest setting, and crank some music, he'll scream for a minute or two, but then crash out.

Am I a bad parent if my child only sleeps in his swing?

off to pump while i have a few minutes.........

Brian looks so grown up and sophisticated. I think it must be the glasses. He didnt have those at Marcie's wedding did he?

I love the little bunny slippers on her feetsies. I went to go buy her some cute outfits the other day but I couldnt find anything that was cute enough at Freddy's. I think I need to go hit Macy's and see what I can come up with.

And with all that free time that I know you have, I tagged you on my blog.
