First up, I just bought this little Leap Frog table for Grace. After watching her enjoy it at a few of her friends houses, I decided to get one for her to play with at home. She LOVES it.

Aaron came up with the idea of taking a daytrip as a family this week. We just don't do enough of these. But, with his schedule opening up more this summer (he's taking the summer off of school) we should be able to enjoy many more family excursions. We decided to head to Hood River and enjoy the day. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Grace took both of her naps in the car, so she was happy and in a great mood while we were there. Perfect timing on our part!
Before strolling thru the town, we decided to head down to the water and chill for a bit, and of course stretch our legs (Grace included)
Here, she is acting as our tour guide. She's telling Aaron all about the history of the Gorge.

I just love this shot

One of the perks of having a girl is all the extra frilly things you can have. I can't wait for this girl to have hair so she can sport more ribbons, barrets and ponytails. We gave the barrett thing a try this week. It lasted all of 5 seconds.

5 seconds is up...
Next, it was out to the yard to enjoy the sun and watch dad mow the lawn. This is her new favorite past time. She loves to watch Aaron go by with the mower, mainly because he waves at her with each lap he makes.
Yawn, I'm bored of this. What's next?

Yawn, I'm bored of this. What's next?Next up, laundry. These are in chronological order and were taken in about 15 seconds. Any longer and the entire basket would have ended up on the floor. Good thing I mopped that day. These were clean whites.
Mama's little helper. Now, if I could only teach her to fold....

ok - the barrett pics are adorable and wow, you guys have a lot of socks!
I love the pictures. I had the same problem with Kate and the barretts. I finally took her into the bathroom so she could see what was in there. Then did majoring oohing and aahing over how adorable she was. It helped them last an hour rather than seconds.
Kells - that is a GREAT idea! Grace loves looking at herself in the mirror, so that will be a huge bonus.
