Aaron still needs to do the chair rail molding and is also installing a new window casing. Should look really cute when it's all done. We contemplated between doing it lime green and pink. In the end green won. Aaron wasn't loving the idea of a pink room and I really like lime green and pink together.......so it ended up being an easy decision.
I'm really starting to notice extra aches and pains now. I went for a pedicure this weekend and it was absolute heaven. After being on my feet all day painting the room, it was a very nice treat. My back has really been bothering me too, but I can't really complain. I feel good for the most part.
I had a doctors appointment this afternoon. Everything went well. Heartbeat was strong, blood pressure was low - which was a plus. The nurse thought it might be high because of some of the swelling I've had in feet, hands and face. Nothing bad yet, but I'm certainly noticing it. For some reason my body loves to retain water. I bloat like crazy the day after I have sushi and soy sauce. Pregnancy should be a whole different level of bloating. Not something I'm looking forward. (Mmm, speaking of sushi - I miss it! California Rolls can only do so much for me)
Baby Gore is about 1 1/4 pounds now and a foot long. She is very active and loves to start punching and kicking right about the time I'm ready to go to sleep. I was sitting in a meeting this past week and felt her kicking away. I looked down at my belly and could actually see movement on the outside as well! I was so fascinated and just kept watching my belly move for the rest of the meeting.
OK, I've put it off long enough. Here is my 24 week picture. I just dread posting this week. I did my photo session alone today and became more and more depressed after each picture I took! Sadly, these are the best ones.

I know what you mean though....the other day i was complaining that my belly wasnt as round and firm as i'd hoped........i guess the pre-pregnancy imperfections are just accentuated when the belly sticks out......Cameron even agreed that my belly looked "lumpy"....depressing......
